I F'd Up! Episodes 1 & 2 Goes Live April 4th!!
I F'd Up!

It all started with a work f*up...

As the best things do! It was early on in my career and I was just learning the ropes as a wide-eyed marketing intern. If you want the dirty deets of the unfortunate incident, you’ll just have to tune into Ep.1 (nothing in life is free I say). That f’up was a pivotal moment for me as it was indicative of how easily I could spiral into the depths of negative thoughts targeted at myself and my competency. No matter the praise I received or the good job I’d done on a project there was always this underlying pressure that a f’up of epic portions was just waiting around the corner. Well, I learned the hard way that the best way to limit your growth is to surround yourself with fear and for many years, in certain areas, I didn’t grow.

It took years of therapy, lots of internal searching and a determination to shift my mindset that finally allowed me to have a better relationship with mistakes. And it’s something I continue to work at, one f’up at a time. One thing that helped me along this journey was hearing from others out there about their own mistake struggles on the job. There is something incredibly powerful in vulnerability and transparency. We tend to see what’s just going on on the outside without really understanding the dialogue and struggle within.

That’s what led me to create the I F'd Up! podcast, so I can speak to folks within a variety of industries on their work mistakes and learnings, unpacking the good, the bad and the oh-so-cringey. I hope these candid conversations inspire a new way to interpret mistakes at work and ultimately, a more fulfilled life.

I love hearing your feedback so feel free to contact me, I open and respond to every message. Interested in being on the show? Then why not pitch yourself as a guest.
